**Wax Melt Safety Guidelines:**

1. **Use a Suitable Wax Warmer:** Only use wax melts in an approved electric or tea light wax warmer. Ensure the warmer is in good condition and follows the manufacturer's instructions.

2. **Place on a Heat-Resistant Surface:** Always place the warmer on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from flammable objects, drafts, and out of reach of children and pets.

3. **Do Not Overfill:** Add the appropriate amount of wax to the warmer. Overfilling can cause spills or overflow, which could be hazardous.

4. **Never Leave Unattended:** Never leave a burning wax warmer unattended. Extinguish the flame or turn off the electric warmer when leaving the room or going to sleep.

5. **Keep Away from Water:** Do not add water to the wax warmer, as this could cause splattering and burns.

6. **Monitor Burn Time:** For tea light warmers, limit use to 3-4 hours at a time. For electric warmers, follow the manufacturer's guidelines on the duration of use.

7. **Avoid Touching Hot Wax:** Wax melts can get very hot when in use. Allow the wax to cool completely before handling or cleaning the warmer.

8. **Proper Ventilation:** Use wax melts in a well-ventilated area to ensure the scent is dispersed safely and effectively.

9. **Disposal of Used Wax:** Let the wax cool and harden completely before disposing of it. Do not pour hot wax down the drain, as it can cause blockages.
